As ive got a carbon roof i thought some nice carbon bonnet vents would go nice and as no one makes them for a S2 was thinking what Escos vents would look like on the S2 bonnet.
Would they look too big?
Need a paintshop here me thinks

seen em on an s1 bonnet a couple of times, but im with rick doubt they'd look too clever tbh, but its your idea and your car

Was only an idea, as Twins put the Saff ones his so just wondered what Escos one would look like.

 

Standard carbon ones would do me fine but nowhere make them!

 

im sure joe with the blue s2, and orange cage has just got a carbon bonnet with carbon vents

mk2 focus rs carbon bonnet vent's would work i reckon

esc cos vent are too roundy and wouldn't look right on a square-ish s2 IMO

escos as said would look pants. Twins has done the only best alternative on his car IMO.

As Jonny said I have a carbon bonnet but the vents are like moulded into the bonnet on top they look seperate but there not if you get me lol. It's all one pieace.

was something along the lines of this i was thinking of altho less symmetrical and the car i was thinking of had only one on left handside of bonnet i think!

Thats an Evo 4/5/6 vent. Just out of interest, has anyone ever fitted a Celica GT4 vent to a ford? There must have been something similar in Max Power ha ha.

Once seen a Mk6 Escort in either PF or FF with an L200 scoop, sure it was a white Rs2000.

There was a mk5b escosrt turbo with a Kia Sedona vent in the bonnet. that didnt look too bad tbh

Yeah it's RSandy. I had one years ago to put in my throttle bodied Fiesta right over the manifold. Genuine bonnet as well, but couldn't bring myself to cut something so rare to bits. Sold it for £200 and the bloke drove from Northern Ireland to pick it up.



Wish I kept it for future use.
