i have just fitted 17" diamond cut alloys to my s1, i have koni shocks and s2 springs the front tyres are rubbing on the arches. do i need s1 springs or would lowering springs help cheers
dont see how lowering it will help, that will make it rub more.
you can have the lip of the arches rolled back so theres a bit morespace.
alternatively,sell the wheels to me

I had Spax -25mm on my series 2 with 205/40/17 and they were fine mate, no problems at all.
In my experience get a decent spring (spax) as the -25 mm Gmax spring, was a different -25mm to Spax's idea of -25mm
