diamond cuts

Default diamond cuts

i have just fitted 17" diamond cut alloys to my s1, i have koni shocks and s2 springs the front tyres are rubbing on the arches. do i need s1 springs or would lowering springs help cheers

what trim them with a grinder mate would it help if i lowered it say 20mm to stiffen it up so they dont rub

dont see how lowering it will help,that will make it rub more.
you can have the lip of the arches rolled back so theres a bit morespace.
alternatively,sell the wheels to me

try a stiffer spring mate, i ran them on my s2 and were ok, also ran some on an old mk4 fiesta van lowered 40mm and only just catched the arches

Ok mate, i was gona get some -25mm lowering spings and see if that helps

I had Spax -25mm on my series 2 with 205/40/17 and they were fine mate, no problems at all.

In my experience get a decent spring (spax) as the -25 mm Gmax spring, was a different -25mm to Spax's idea of -25mm
