ok heres an interesting one for ya

my clutch ratchet aint adjusting properly, so i changed, my mate went and got it for me and when he came back he said ive deffo got the right one as they do certain colours for certain colours of cars, which i think is b***lox to be honest with ya, anyway this one aint working properly either so how do you find out what one should be on there as fords have just asked me what one is on the car already which is no help as ive now had 2 different colours on it which aint right

any help is much appreciated guys as this is doing my brain in

 

Fit a mark 5 Escort pedal, then you will have no more issues with the ratchet and the clutch wil also be adjustable. Also a lot easier to fit

did try this a few weeks ago and we couldnt get it to fit properly so we scraped the idea

when fitted the pedal wouldnt go round as the ratchet would knock

 

from what i can remember when i done mine last year i put a red one in, they do use different colours coz i put one in my xr4x4 and it was a yellow one!

 

IIRC think I used a mk6 one (and the pedal) on mine - worked perfect with a 4 paddle, but it was a while ago

 

I got an adjustable pedal, already chopped about to fit your pedal box - PM for details. The AP site is on the right track, just missing a few points to stop everything catching.
