Default my 205 mi16 project car

hey folks havent been on here for a while. im kind of neglecting my zs at the moment due to my little project car. picked up the car 1990 205 1.9 gti. for a measly £500 still tax and mot'd for 4 months.

ran fine for a while then eventually (it being a french car) problems arose. electrics started playing up and sometimes it would start and times it wouldnt. traced it back to a faulty brown multi plug, but with it being a 20 yr old car then whole loom was pretty knackered anyway.
so i bit the bullet and got myself the engine that should be in it lol.

started getting new parts before i started including new loom.
so today i started taking the old engine apart ,took the old loom out first

thats as much as ive done right now. engine will be out tommorrow and the engine bay is being rust treated primed and painted before the new power plant goes in.

also here is my little fiesta feeling neglected, going to puma power it after xmas and new year is out the way

cany wait till the engine is in, going to have a full respray aswell at some point. not sure what colour to get or keep it the origional paintjob. quite fancy doing mercury silver as in the new wheeler dealers series when they do the old land rover.

not updated this for a while , got the car back after around 2 weeks it was away. car runs perfect and has taken out alot of more powerful cars around. its to go get a full rolling road session and 100% checkup for free. lol

only problem i have now is the fuel pump or relay has packed in on me. -( anyone on here with a 205 that can help get it going.

some pics of the engine
