Someone was not happy with their outdoor cover the other day, lasted 18 months before cracking apparently

I have an indoor cover and have to say its a quality cover

in my personal experience any out door car cover can turn into a nightmare. so easy for them to scratch the paint when the wind gets under them.

is it for long term storage? have you thought about one of these portable garages? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Large-Folding-...item5ad9f8dfe7

bloke at work has recently had one for his stag and can't fault it, keeps the weather off the car and is fairly easy to get the car out of as it just folds back. will probably be getting one myself soon to store my kit car over winter as my dad is being selfish and knocking his garage down as he can't fit his car in it

The classic additions cover ive got for my car has been superb, its the outdoor one as occasionally my car is outside for a few months, its amazing how well it lets the car breathe, you can park the car up wet, put the cover on it, it rain on and off for a couple of weeks, and then when you take it off its somehow dry underneath.

As per the other thread though, dont expect it to last more than a year or two if its outside continually.

So are they worth the money in terms of how well they protect your car? YES
Are they worth the money as a very long term storage solution that will last years without replacement? NO

I had the outdoor one and it was really good apart from where the bungee straps go throught the cover it ripped possible in strong wind. i rang classic additions up and they replaced it as it was only 9 months old

Kept my car good as i couldnt fit it in the garage.

Are those the standard indoor cover or the custom made ones?
