im going to be having loads of fun with the car.. its really lovely to drive . i had a punto. but after selling my punto. my dad gave me this escort . my x loves the car i hated it but after driving the car. omg totally fun to drive. i was lost for words really amazing. specaily how she grips around them tight bends . an when put the gas on she goes so well.. ive just built the engine cause sadly the head gasket went. must of been standing for a long time. as there three years she was just garaged .but now she is out an gonna look really good.
ive got planned a 1.6cvh engine as to be honest. ive throught about turbos an to be honest i could build a better engine.. without the turbo... ive just got off ebay a front an back bumper xr3i . need to find the rest of the kit. an adjust were need to fit it on the 4door. im going to respray her complete. but back to the same colour . the intro. easy really full set of leathers
but the dash board is being cut up to house a flat screen . that wil be hidden. then press a button an it motors out of its hole. ive got all them bits just have'nt drawed up a wiring diagram yet ..
ive got a set off r's clocks . so im figuring the wiring up to that.

do need some help tho
the intro.im after the center console unit. any ideas where i could get it from.
does anyone know an good sites you can buy new an old school stuff for the mk3 or 4. because i used to be good a finding it for minis. but for escort the only place i can find bits is ebay. i'e looking for a site that only does escort bits

As for the cosul unit.do you mean the bit that houses the stero in the dash or the gear lever surround consul..either way ebay is the best bet as finding parts for mk4 is getting harder by the month

 

nice base leave the body as is, lower it with some wheels job done, dont put a kit on or any silly add ons tbh it just wouldnt suit it

i think there rs clocks. im not 100% shore. as you can see the back of it . could anyone tell me what the clocks fit as they wont fit my 1.4 and if i can find out what ones they are. i can get the plugs for them

the mk4 had no rev counter so i dont know if the plug is difrrent for just the clock..the revs are supplied by the coil..thats about as much as i know lol

there the clocks.. all i need to find is the plugs from the loom with abit of wiring to tap in to my loom... so as anyone got the plugs i need . an do they take paypal

 

now down to bussiness at the end of the month .the over haul starts. two front new to rear wings. two new sills. complete strip down an rebuild. ordering parts soon.. does anyone know where i could get dam good panels from... we have a supplyer down here. but sometimes well alot of the time no panels fit together right. down lie up well. an i dont wanna wreck my little pup

 

Ebay is the best bet, front wings are ten a penny atm.. Rear quater pannels id try Hadrians pannels

 

Or if you want a complete car, theres a 1.4lx in the breakers near me that he wants to sell complete.. its in very good con..rear arches are mint might be worth a try
