Default Poly Bushing Mk3 RS1800

Hi all,
Has anyone on here polybushed a mark 3? Just wondered exactly how much it tightens the chassis up. I'm aware of the underlying principles to poly bushes and even fitted a set on my old car (Rover 220 GSi), which was pretty helpful.

Just really wanted the oppinion of someone who has already done the job if poss.

I've just poly bushed my Si, used the Deflex kit.

The Ford bushes are a nightmare to get out, the rear ones took me about 3 hours each and the fronts about 3 hours per wishbone. Once the old bushes are finally out, fitting the polybushes is easy. They all fit exactly as they are supposed to, took no time at all to put the new ones in.

Not driven it yet, but impressed with the way they fit

Whack a post up when you've been for a cruise, be interested to know the results. I'll get the bushes out the easy way....I used to work in a (VW) main dealer, so I'll just pop down there and use a press!!!

How much was the deflex kit? Were the bushes conventional style or two piece like every other poly bush kit atm?
