hi guys

not to sure if this has been posted about before,

i have the 2.1 cvh engine ( zetec bottom end, standard rs turbo head)
would i be able to get more power out of the engine if i put on a zetec head so it would be a full zetec engine? or an st170 head?

any help apprieciated

as i said on the other post you can put the zetec head on but your compression ratio might end up to low and you will probably need to have some oil galleries un blocked don't try using st head as you'll run into more problems for not a lot of gain

 

if i put the blacktop head on, is it worth the gains?

 

hello mate i have a silver top ported head to take 1mm over sized valves and it aint been used yet if that interests you

 

right ok, im kinda new to fords and zetecs so whats the difference between the blacktop n silvertop, n im amsuming tha the silvertop should jus bolt on, and jus need to clear some oil galaries n stuff
