Default Nomad 3 gauge vent holder

Got the metal one from Nomad with the engraving.

Should there be a clip to hold it in at the top of the dash cos mine sticks out a bit but not too badly.

Also there is a big gap about 10mm between the adjuster knobs and the panel itself almost as if something is missing or should I just stick on the Lockwood dial kit.

Don't think I will be able to get the old lighting strip off anyway cos it looks stuck on with something and don't really want to break it by taking it apart.

I bought one from burton and it was a metal one to. Unless they have started makeing plastic ones. Best ones i have seen are from auto specalist all the gauges are angled towards the driver. They are quite pricey dho

Burtons buy from nomad mate as they are the same, only ones that are different are the ones from autospecialists

Had a look on AS website and could not see the holder anymore but I know it used to be there cos I contemplated buying it at the time. Wish I had TBH.

i thought that the burton was plastic! I haven't seen triple gauge holder at AS site! Only the gauge holder behind the steering wheel!

i had the metal one once and found i had to keep pushing it back in as it would keep popping out. I also appreciate my air vents too much when the weather is warm so i fucked it off and now have a double pillar gauge holder and my 3rd gauge is in the blanking panel to the left of my steering wheel. Im sure i used to see plastic ones that were the whole unit of where the vents are. Probably not made anymore.
