potential intermediate drive shaft bearing st170?
Hi all, i have a 02 st170 focus and when driving at any speed you hear a metalic noise(light grinding, scraping, hard to describe) and have checked the bearings etc andthe noise stays turning left or right. I jacked it up tonight and spun the o/s wheel and you hear a metalic noise up the driveshaft, its defiently not from bearing or cv joint, so im guessing it could be the intermediate bearing? When i spin nearside you dont hear a noise
How can i check this is the problem? any tests to make sure not from gearbox?
