fitting a clutch to a fiesta
hi
my clutch has been slipping for a while and finking i may have to bite the bulliet and get it fixed, i'm not really mechanically minded but can't afford the big garage fee's to fit a clutch so how easy is it to fit /replace a clutch to a petrol ,1.3 encore (endurea engine) fiesta? any specially tools etc etc? if there is anyone in the medway area whod fancy lending a hand please do.

hi mate i know when i done a mates one it was my first time it was a 1.3 hcs engine but they are almost the same the gear box can be a pain to get of and on if u dont take it right out is not to hard a job tho
Not strictly difficult but involved and lengthy.
I imagine youd have to either remove the engine or the box to gain access which makes it a pain in the arse, however, actually swapping one clutch for another is very easy.
