Cosworth 10% co help needed
My car had it on a mot co meter and its running 10 % co and its killing plugs the spec is t35 greys and 500 intercooler and qiukshift intake but i dont know anything about the chip all help appreciated cheers.
3 door, 2wd(sapph) or 4wd sapph, or escos ?
Either way I would start by changing the CTS if it over say 3 years old, as this is the main influenece of co, but also need to check others if that doesn't cure it such as map sensor, lambda(if fitted), fuel pressure etc.
It is a must that you open the ecu and see what the chip is, and more to the point that it is correct for the bits you have fitted, they all need to work together.

Cant help with the chip but my advise would be to get the fse power boost valve and bin it.There is nothing wrong with the standard regs they are good.
I think james did a bit of a thread concerning these and the failure rate which in turn equals meltdown

As said BIN THE FSE, or sell it to some chav, with a 500bhp claim, sure to sell ha ha!!
Any alteration you make to either fuel or air will have a effect on the running, some more so than others, the chip will have been written for the rising rate of the std pressure eg no doubt, so with the fse you are going to have sjit loads more on boost fuelling even if the off boost/idle was correct.
You really do NEED to see what chip it is, before you go any further, if for example it is for a std engine then as you are on greys the fuel will be pouring in, as the grey injectors flow much much more than the std yellows, the point is you don't know so need to find out, before you buy anything else.
The ecu cover comes off by undoing 4 simple screws in each corner so not hard.

As said bin the FSE, then I would start by making sure the CO is set correctly for the chip you have.
Std fuel pressure is 3.5 BAR, this is the norm for most chips but like CO some require a higher fuel pressure.
