Default Dirt cheap rods

Any one ever used these?

First look says they will be Chinese shite, but they are 4340 and look to be well designed.... i have read some stuff about cheap rods fatiguing badly???

only one way to find out i guess, no ARP bolts though, sounds amateur IMO

he sells the rod bolts separate, Ł70 delivered, bet theres machining involved if you were to use the mahle piston tho

Any idea on what needs machining jonny? i can understand them not coming with arp's as the price is so low, they just seem far too cheap to be any good.

They look just like my PEC rods..... which I have been told are cheap chinese rods! lol
But... they are well made and I have not heard of any failing so should be fine.

Mahles do not have a fully floating little end so require machining to fit the snap rings that secure them to the rods, my local engineer wanted Ł100 to do a set of 4, so I just sold my Mahles and bought some Wossner pistons instead

as above rob, what karlos said, looks like pec jobbies too. still cheap tho and gotta be stronger than ford plop
