after making various brackets etc.. for the original one i have now got a small alternator that fits
it is still a tight fit but should just miss the water pipe too
it getting crowded around that area
trying something different takes alot of time

 

its the silly thing that get overlooked i found

got all the engine and box ready to run just couldnt find a starter motor to turn it over

didnt even give it a thought.

happy days that you got it sorted it can be a royal pain in the .....

whats next then?
