Would you not need a pair of new cams for it to run properly?
I've only read little bit about cams, so really not my area, but I think I remember seeing that the overlap on n/a is more than ideal for turbo'd engines. As I said, no expert, but would be interested to know. Also, does anyone stock zt specific cams, or would they be bespoke?

the fez turbo iam building at the mo has added up to over 36k

but that encludes all the carbon pannels
suspension
brakes

the aero quip aint cheap

cant just have the engine unless you got all the bits to with it to make it reliable

wtf has carbon pannels and aero quip ect got to with being reliable?
Just because you are spending that kind of money doesnt mean it cant be done for a hell of a lot less and still be reliable! And my own car is proof of that.

carm down mate never said yours wasnt wtf
and i never said the carbon makes it reliable

and i also mentioned brakes and suspension which is important when running big power in any car
and any big power car needs a gear box to cope with it or whats the point in building a engine for the car to sit there all the time with broken boxes

but some might say all the aero quip might as they are better than rubber hose with normal clips

dont get worked up over nothing mate

no, the standard 2.0 zetec cams work very well with zetec turbos. this is a VERY commonly known fact and has been for years.

also the Focus RS has the same cams as the standard N/A 2.0 zetecs anyway. finis codes are the same.

i think i need to have a word with jano for pistons and rods for mine then, been looking around £800-900 for mine when i get them, the rest is as expected and have most bits to help me get there, barring the T34, but will be looking for a GT30 i think long term after the 4wd cossie turbo.
