It is not what you eat, it is how much you eat.

A full stomach takes the alc longer to get in your blood

Works really well! I had a packet of them, and loads of milk before a mate's Stag do recently, and it sorted me out a treat.

Shepards pie, Bangers n mash, steak and chips

Well what works for me is greasy food like a fry up/ mixed grill etc... I can drink HEAPS when i've had something like that, dunno if it's psycholigical or coincedence but been doing that 4 years and it works 4 me. A couple of pints of water when you get in before going to bed will work wonders too, if you forget to do that, it's the first thing you'll regret not doing when you wake up!

As said above though, stodge and milk based stuff is normally a winner.

I tend to be rushing around before going out and try and grab a couple of cheeseburgers and a milkshake or something

Something with fat in like milk is good, it slows the absorbtion rate of everything else from stomach. So a not particularly healthy meal and a pint of milk should do the trick

Lots of water, milk and carbs is usually how i roll.

2 pints of water, bigish meal, bread/rice/pasta and some meat. then a glass of milk before you leave the house.

Should help a bit.

TBH, this whole thread is GAY. Man up and get wasted, then come home and jump the wife!

Happy birthday.

And it don't matter what you eat, if you've drunk enough it is going to come back out anyway

If it doesn't, you haven't drunk enough!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Do NOT eat spaghetti bolonese. It WILL end in tears.

Drink milk before you eat, and afterwards. Job done.
