i like these cars, a good mate used have a grey cupra r 225 running about 280bhp was a cracking motor. iv always fancied one of the older ibiza cupra r with them being a bit smaller and lighter plus have the same very tunable engine .

what mods have been done to this then ?

look nice, love the grey one.

Its running about 270bhp. Stage 1 revo, Forge 007P, 30mm lowering springs, didnt want to put coilovers on it as its sort of a daily driver for the time being. Jetex filter, the usual little bits really.

Got a lot more plans for it but the powers getting a bit boring if im honest.

Needs to be quicker and the GT28Rs is just too expensive to warrent doing.

 

Very nice, what turbo is on it now, K04 I assume? 270bhp is what I want in my Mk2 20vt eventually, but will be going K03s Hybrid

 

yes just standard cupra r turbo.

 

my grey one was on gt28rs low comp pistons,forged rods ported head 660cc injectors forge front mount etc
