The time has come and i am board of my wheels...really want a set of escort cossie wheel on my saff just would like 2 see pic with them on..cheers

Be mad to swap for them for escos wheels, IMO they dont suit saphs.

 

Just its wot was on it when i brought it and really liked them as i do like the wheel ive got on at the min but fed up with trying 2 keep them mint! lol

 

Not the best pic but this how my old saff looked with them on took them off tho cos they were scrubbing on the arches.

escos wheels suit them perfectly imo, not sure how silver would look on your white car though unless they were darker but dont know about that either

 

sid that looks the don, would be criminal to change it

Hi there no i havent got a resto thread anywhere fore it....its not bad wouldnt say its mint in my eyes just a nice clean one..

 

The thing is i do love it and just want put a cage in it 2 finsh it off...but it just does my head in as there chatch the wing lines when u go around corners and iam fussy lol thats why i keep it so clean wash poilsh it every day

 

Escort Cosworth wheels also cause the tyres to catch on the front arches which is why I ditched mine after only 10 miles

 

I love saffs on escos wheels and think they suit saffs.I would love a set for mine.

As said already looks the nuts on those wheels.If your fed up cleaning them all the time get them powdercoated a darker colour

 

Prefer it as is m8.

 

With 205/40 tyres and koni shocks there fine , wont catch and the car drives ok

well ive got koni on and think there are set hard...but ive been reading and think its cos my offset on them is et30...and havent got a clue when it comes 2 offset nad that just got them new and was told they be fine but there are pissing me off now!..hardly use it cos i like hopw low it is ans fed up with the scrubbing when u go hard around roundabouts lol

 

i had escort cos wheels on my saff 2wd and it did rub on front arches alot
it pulls the lip out .
if you roll the arches though it will be fine

My setting is on half . the offset for a saff/3 door is et35 to 38

Hehe one careful owner, low milage, never abused or revved over 3500rpm. Still on standard d40's

 

Personally i'd leave it as it is mate, but heres a couple of pics for you.

PS- If you fit 215/40's, they clear the arches no probs. No need to go down to 205's.
