Default Mitsubishi Shogun help wanted

A 1994 shogun 2.8 TD smoking a lot, but is really really good on oil doesn't seem to use any. Any ideas on what's up?

Runs quite well, but 100% sure as its not mine, its my dads and he don't use it a great deal. I had thought about he Injectors but wasn't sure.

fuel pump. Does the end hold back every now and then when your driving it.

Well I've driven it to work this morning, didn't seem to hold back at all on me, took a while to start, but then I only did less than two miles across town.
If it is the injectors were the best place to get some?

When does it smoke? The heads are shit on them, does it use water?

Change all the filters air-fuel- oil and filter , check for air leaks then remove the injectors and get them checked.

i would go with injector pump seals poor starting and ramdom smoking is an issue. normaly poor to start then smoke for a short while then clear up and are ok until left over night

Yes that you got it down to a tea. Is it a big job to change the seals? Guessing any motor factors will have them?
