yes, as bezo said the weather can affect how ya feel, and if for a prolonged amount of time and normally over the winter months then this could be a possibility!
your best bet is to get to the doctors, they are the best people to ask!
Make sure your diet is containing plenty of fruit and veg, this will help improve how you feel too!

have they checked u for thyroid problems?! i had similar thing when i was 17 turned out mine was overactive and had it removed and been even more fucked since
but basically an overactive one and underactive one both make u tired!!
At the mo im tired all the time, have real problems waking up and find it hard to remeber things or concentrate some of the time, almost like having "brain fog" alot.....
Have also been reffered now to a sleep specialist at the hosp to see if i have some sort of sleeping disorder causing any probs!!

i would have thought you would be on the same treatment but a higher dose? what were you taking.
Sounds similar to me but i had other complications. Problem was down to stress and having too much on the go at once. Consultant advised to slow down a bit, not always think about anything and everything all at once etc.... Not stress as in the stress you expect it to be, but its basically your brain not stopping during the night, even though you think you are asleep your mind isnt! I did get given medication which works a treat, bit like anti-depressants I think. I'm 100% fine now though!
dlatch, wat side effects do you get with the levothyroxine (spelling police)
Wen i was 18 i was that far overactive it tuk ages to get bk to norm, at the mo, im off all tabs and still monitoring it. iodine treatment is next on the list 4 me. Wow i thought i was in the minority at that age.

i was diagnosed with over active thyroid gland at 18 at the time there were treatment options but the tablets did not aggree with me and i ended up having radioactive iodine treatment to partially kill of the thyroid gland which then left me with a slightly under active thyroid function, my treatment is now 150mg of levothyroxine a day and i get this on the nhs also for free as i will have to take these for the reat of my life.

also referred me to a sleep specialist now as she things i may poss have a sleep disorder, plus ordered loads of tests as have been under alot of stress etc and could poss be adrenal gland related or something else like phily has said, had alot of money probs, health probs, and thought i was gettting made redundant end of last year so been a stressfull time!!have u got a treatment plan phily?! and is it working?!

makes 3 of us then lol, i was a rarity at my hosp till they did the op. the aftercare has been a real let down thou.
Personally never had effects from the levo itself but obviously u get the overactive side effects like tiredness, constant loss of weight, i had hand tremors and mood swings. Was also unfortunate to get my eyes swell up, left wasnt as bad as the right one but didnt look too nice. Had 3 cosmetic ops on my right eye to try and improve it, poss gonna need a 4th at some point but hey how!
I was lead to beleive iodine in a male at a young age wasnt the best idea due to the thought of having radioactive stuff in you and sperm count etc but when i look back i was kinda pushed towards the op by the specialist so was probably a good test subject for him

ok now the consquences of going for the radioactive treatment are this (all what i experienced personnaly) You drink the stuff through a straw which is mixed with water and placed in a lead lined pot, they fill it up a few times it just tasted like stale water and was fine, after affects immediatley after treatment was just a mild sore throat this immediatley brought the gland under control but the dosage is a bit hit or miss i understand. lucky for me i ended up with it being just slightly under active.
Then you have some time to adjust to the new way your body feels, when you are overactive you are almost in a constant hyper state and with the lowering of the glands output it really does literally slow you down which does take some time to get used to but you quickly adjust.
the only long term side affect i have suffered is 10 years after the treatment my teeth started to crumble resulting in me now having no bottom teeth at all and just a few crowns on the top
but thats another long sad story

question to toe knee and m_nettleship
i was told the same as you guys thats its very unusual to get this at such a young age but with you two i now know of 6 people all having the same thing happen, i have a theory on this and its cannabis did you guys used to smoke it? as the other 4 people i know also used to smoke it same as i did.
(pm me or ignore question if un willing to say on a public forum)
edited to add i gained no super human powers from the radioactive treatment

how long you been back on the nhs for treatment? (btw get a exemption cert you should get all treatment free as its for life)
you should be getting regular lvl checks and adjustment to your levo, to me 200mg sounds too low considering you have no gland.
personnaly i find the levo just right but still have the odd slow day where everything is a real effort but then i figure we all have them regardless
regarding the iodine treatment the only thing in your body that uses iodine is the thyroid gland i was told nothing about it affecting the sperm when i was treated and i think i still have some swimmers left

its more the fact its radioactive iodine mate, reguarless of what uses its still a radioactive substance!! but yea its just the thyroid glad that uses it hence them using that as transport vehicle as it were for the radioative stuff.
From memory they use betablockers and a tablet called carbimazol?! something like that as i was put on it but had no effect hence the total removal, and yea know about getting free prescriptions as ive been getting them for 13yrs now
had my first appointment with a new specialist the other week mate so not long, requested a new one as the old one was a cock and didnt give 2 shits the last time about my meds not working and the fact it was affecting my work and my ability 2 drive to/from work even thou i had a letter from work and a private specialist which is why it took me ages to go back to them as i was wasting my time and holidays etc going to the hosp, specially when i was being palmed off to other lesser specialists. Tis annoying really as the armour which is what the NHS USED to give years ago was working (most dont know much about it thou as its oldschool) but the last year or so ive had alot of stresses in my life which now makes me wonder if i have developed something like phil has onto of the thyroid problem, so hopefully the new specialist can help, speically as the private one i was seeing before retired!
not really been into drugs tbh so isnt connected sorry to dissapoint u mate
, i was having loads of problems since i was 16/17 so never really got into smoking or taking anything, althou tbh might aswell ahve done lol.
Thing u gotta remember is the thyroid makes a natural hormone and levo is synthetic which is why armour or other natural meds are used as their dessicated pigs thyroid gland which contain t3 and t4!! so taking that (contains 76ish mcg t4) and some levo (think i was taking about 100mcg) it was like having the gland and topping it up!
