hi all just wandering what would cause a fuel tank blow back went to fill my car with fuel tonight and i could hardly get any fuel in,it keept knocking the fuel pump off or covering me with fuel :-(
i'v just rebuilt the car after a restore.

nice sig could the breather possibly be blocked did you have the tank out

 

yeah i had the tank off

 

as above check breather aint blocked an u aint bent or pinched pipe on tank

 

is the breather the one that comes from the tank top to the top of the filler neck??

yeah....it's ether blocked or i'v blocked it by crushing the pipe some how

definitly a kinked breather

i done exactly the same first time fill up and it chucked fuel all over me
