Car is a 29,000 mile example which I bought completely standard, mint and original - drove it from London to Edinburgh home!

She now runs a 2.0 zetec on full RS1800 management and goes very well, also runs an RST box, lowered 40mm on RST wheels and 90 spec RST interior.

Plans involve 4 branch and full stainless, fit my big brakes, new smaller number plates and some poly bushes as I intend to have it on the track this year











last pic is an older one, the full interior is now in (turbo dash, door cards, better seat etc and ecu mounted in glove box)

any idea on what sort of springs to use to get something similar to height as your escort bonus.

 

mine is about 40mm all round mate. Good compromise between looks and handling i thought, i'm using KYB suspension

steering wheel is from an early saff cossie mate - direct fit but need to trim down cowling to stop it rubbing

treated the old girl this weekend to a new set of wheels, a four branch, full Scorpion stainless and found the inlet manifold was the crappy SO one so got an HO one on her now, going very well and got a great noise to her now!








Wheels came this colour but not sure to keep them anthracite cos it goes with bumpers etc or do them shiny silver or white? any opinions welcome but i'm very chuffed to actually have a set!

think silver is the way forward for the wheels with the Compomotive stickers etc

 

Leave the wheels black imo

 

Got some of those wheels in 16" sitting here... they REALLY suit a MK4 Escort. I'd defo leave them black to go with bumpers mate, silver will look shite against the paintwork and white will look chav and un-sleeperish IMO.

Sure I saw this at fast ford at crail looks amazing the only reason I noticed it was the number plates the little slogans are great amazing looking car

 

you would have done mate, even got a prize that day for it

wanted to go up 1/4 mile but queue was horrendous

 

Love the car.
Liked it with the S2 alloys keeps it more sutle.
It would be well funny showing all these chavs in there saxos how fast it is.

 

hi there, got the same thing going on, 1300 ohv bonus, and a xr3i efi donor car. how bad are the looms to change? i can do the rest no problem, just a little afraid when it comes to wiring etc. any help much appriciated, thanks
