Default EFI/MFI Clutch

What's the difference between a CVH EFI Clutch and a MFI Clutch? I know i have a EFI Clutch around and i can't find out which one it is and as far as i know there is a difference between them...

I just can't find out what the difference should be

All of them are 220mm; and the clutch covers are all the same height; Flywheel on the clutchside looks the same.

Hope you can help

On the site of burton there is a clutch where in the desription it says: AP RACING CLUTCH KIT: 220mm CVH EXTRA HIGH TORQUE ** N.B. NOT RS TURBO FIESTA MODELS.**

So there has to be a difference between the EFI power CVH's and the MFI CVH's right?

Mmm odd, i have never been aware of any differences, i know the series one's use a smaller flywheel. I happen to have the AP high torque organic (cp2000-35) and i'm on efi with a fiesta turbo flywheel
Give them a ring and ask the question, they're pretty helpful!

as above.
maybe the turbo specific clutch has stronger dampening springs for the turbo surge to take.
i dunno, i've used turbo and non turbo clutches on turbo engines and all worked fine till the boost gets turned up more.

The only possible difference that comes to mind, is the thrust bearing bore. There are two sizes.

Yes that could be it, the later ones are bigger and the FRST was 1990-1992/3 so sounds about right.
