Im running a 1850cc Zetec N/A engine in my Mk4 Escort
Im comin up to making a decision on what gearbox to use!

I have the option of a S2 Box - Which seems common and ideal
A Zetec Box ( heard the RS1800i gearbox fits straight on and onto the cradle )

Would it be a good idea to Run a Diesel Box! Like some people run on a RST! I ran a Diesel Box on my Old RST and it was Superb!

Would it be alrite to run one on my Zetec N/A Due to the ratio's?

anything that bolts to it will be fine without a turbo mate.

 

Diesel boxes ratio's aren't ideal for a RS Turbo let alone an n/a with significantly less torque

 

i ran just a normal cvh box when i had zetec killed 2 in 6 months but have had no probs with the current box for over a year now and its got an rs2000 strapped to it and its still fine. think the first two were just bad boxes....

 

i run an RST box in my zetec mk4 and its great....apart from crunching into 2nd
