This is all ive really got left from my car now, Only removed it yesterday hence why i could'nt send those who asked any pictures, Picture quality not the best sorry.
Only covered just shy of 1500 miles, Never ever puffed abit of smoke, No knocks or pistons slap etc, Bores have NO wear at all.
I did this build myself & started with a brand new silvertop 2.0, I binned the pistons, rods, oil pump & sump & replaced them with some Brand new Accralite forged pistons, Burton steel rods, 1.8 high pressure oil pump & a 1.8 zetec sump.
The pistons were machined to a compression ratio of 7:8.1 & balanced then my engineer bored the block the suit the pistons to prevent piston slap when cold. He also did the blocking of the oil ways & breathers/returns etc & re-faced the top of the block.
The water pump conversion plate was done by me before i built it all up with the original genuine ford bearings.
Heres the full spec:
2.1 zvh block bored to 86mm.
Accralite forged pistons.
Burton H beam steel rods.
1.8 zetec high pressure oil pump.
1.8 zetec sump.
New cvh water pump.
1.3 cvh tensioner.
New cam belt.
Has EFI flywheel with a ground face for paddle clutch.
Will supply the re-usable zvh head bolts & modded engine mount also.
Think thats it ive got receipts for over £1800+ for parts alone without all the labour for the machining.
Looking for £1100 which i think is fair considering i have proof of all parts purchased & the lack of miles covered ( all receipts are for summer 2008 & was not built & fitted until August 2009).
Ready for MFI or EFI.
Thanks.
