Default that damn fiesta has broken again :(

the key has got stuck in the boot lock, and i'm fucked if i can get it out again

it releases if you lock the boot when it's open, as in you click the catch to lock it in place, then the key comes out

but you can't close the boot with the lock locked so you open it again thinking that when you close th boot the lock will engage and the key will come out

no, fail, do not go past go, do not collect £200

so which one of you clever clogs can figure this one out?

just bolt in a new lock and be done with it or what?

the key looks slightly fucked too, there is no way it will be forced out if it's not goin to go and there is about 3mm worth of play in the lock as you put the key in, it engages nand then you've got 3mm worth or fore and aft movement in it if that helps matters

did you get a key cut and coded from last time. Is there no other way you can open use boot without the key ie remote key fob.

Is the lock closing properly when the boot is closing? Clicking twice when you close it slowly? If not, try fucking slamming it! Don't bill me for the glass though if you do it a bit hard

both of these will be tried in the morning, it's too dark and too cold to be waiting for the glass peeps to come out in the middle of the night

thats Paul, he is a mate of mine, has pretty much every part but he has got to big to fast and charges well over the odds, even to mates, i needed a section of radiator hose for my st170, it was £24 plus vat at ford and Paul wanted £30 for a second hand one with rub marks all over it. I wanted to pin him down and cut his stupid pony tail off..

haha just read about his " fitting by experienced staff", his fitter is a bleeding retard, he dribbles on your car lol. when i was up there the other day looking for a bumper for myst170 his "skilled" fitter stood there and argued me to the ground that ste sta170 bumper is a different fitment to the lower spec models which i know is wrong as bar the fogs and the grill they are exactly the same bumpers, he wanted £60 for a standard focus bumper barte and £120 for the 170 bumper bare the fucking idiot

ok, update time:

i've opened up the rear panel to sort the lock out and i've found a solinoid
but even though it's wired up, so it seems, thre isn't a button on the dash to press to open the boot
so where is it supposed ot be?
or is it supposed to have remote central locking and therefore should have a 3 button plipper key type thing?
and how do i find out?

bigger problems than jus the locks now, it's come to a halt with great big plumes of steam coming out the bonnet and the header tank is empty

might have been cheaper to buy a fucking cossie
