Does anyone know where exactly on the tailgate the 4x4 badges go ?? Ive seen them mainly on the left handside beside the RS2000 badge but ive also seen them beside the 16v on the right and right at the bottom ! I want the badging to look as original as possible but as some thieving barsteward stole the originals im trying to source more info as to the proper location ! If you have 4x4 2000 would you mind posting up a pic of your badges ???

 

Are they supposed to have them there? I thought they were just on the wings under the indicators lenses?

 

they didnt have them on the boot from the factory, just on the sides

 

I've seen a few escorts with 4x4 on the boot that just didn't look right, always guess theyre were fakes but didn't know they weren't tagged from factory!

 

Well they do have them under the indicators on the wings but ive seen a few with them on there so im not so worried about getting those right its the tailgate im not sure of . They do look abit odd after the RS2000 badge but thats where ive see the most of like the red one pictured below !
