went for dinner at my mum,s today. Grandma sat at the table said i dont feel well and collapsed. Stopped breathing and started fitting

My sister is a doctor, been in work today on a 12 hour shift.
She came in quite upset, today an 87yo man who has never stepped foot in a hospital, still married to his wife after 61 years, who was up a ladder last week putting up christmas lights, who was fine this morning, had a massive heart attack and brain hemmerage (sp) early afternoon today and will be lucky to make midnight.
Really shit thing to happen to any day, never mind xmas day

Not really, well not yet. They think a stroke. But she's had 5 strokes upto now. All she wants is to be back home with my grandad they've been married 63 years and argue like cat and dog

Not yet steve. Apparantly she's ok. Just waiting on the doc's to go round.

just been on with hospital and she's been kept in. I'm sick of hospitals, i've spent the last 4 years xmas days in intensive care visiting
