Very, very scarce car though and, from what I've been told it is quicker and drives better than a Sapphire 4x4.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panther_Solo

The Solo 2 used the Ford Cosworth 2.0 L (1993 cc) engine with a Ferguson four wheel drive system modified by Panther. It is not known exactly how many vehicles were built (however it was between 12 and 25), as sometimes Panther would change the chassis number of prototype cars. All but three Solos were sold to the public, two were destroyed, and one is still owned by the then owner of Panther.
The body of the Solo 2 was primarily aluminium honeycomb sandwiched between carbon fibre, and was both designed and constructed by March Engineering.

Agree on the looks, but in essence it's registered legal rs200 build. Try building it yourself, carbon fibre, honeycomb ally, mid engine 4x4. I'd be suprised if you got far for £20,000.

Plus you could drive around in that all day and no one would ever steal it

To be more accurate the Jag looks like the Panther as the Panther was built first, although the design may have been influenced by early sketches of the XJ.
