As i'm buying a house soon i'm looking for some cheap motoring for a year or two. I've seen two cars locally but am not sure which to go for; 1999 fiesta 1.4 zetec with low miles and a 1998 corsa sport 1.6 with slightly higher miles but a few hundred quid cheaper. I love my fords and know the fiesta is a far better driving car but the corsa has a bit more power. Does any one now if the corsa would be much faster than the fiesta? I know what the performance stats are on paper but i dont think they're always accurate. If I thought they were both much the same I would go for the fiesta. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of how the two cars compare??

u wont be dissapointed

and if u bung in the 2.0 zetec from a mondeo, ur insurance grp only goes up by 1 (about £100 more for a 20 yr old driver)

so thats 90hp standard in a car wheighing less than a ton, or 130hp with the conversion
