I've got the opportunity to pick up a Mk1 Fiesta in fairly good cond. which is a very hard to find car here in the states, but I'm sure I'll need spares/parts to get it on the road. I plan on building it into a gas mileage monster for commuting. How hard is it to find replacement parts for the Mk1? Bushes? shockes, springs, interiour panels? etc?

should still be quite easy regarding mechanical parts mate
trim panels may be tricky , i may know of a mk 1 breaking soon id have to see if the guy stilll has it ,
id say you will poss struggle if your wanting oem parts , aftermarket replacements will be an easy source,
where you based in the usa ?
drop me a pm , if its any help , dont mind having a look this side of the pond for ya

Thanks for the reply Beefy,
I'm in Arkansas, which is in the middle of the huge place. What about replacement suspension bushings? I think thats where the worst of it is. And are the wheels 4x108 or 4x100. Cheers.
