Default Sierra Cosworth 4x4 My Pics

Hello all,

Just thought id put some pics up of my Cossie had it a few weeks now and thought its about time id put it up to show you.

Its a 4x4 on a J plate in Magenta, car has some interesting history was in Germany and was a MOD car, its had a small fortune spent on it recently But hopfully it will be worth it.

Its also my daily drive for time being

Anyway hope you all like, im no David bailey but think you get idea, needs a little more MrB love but ill get it there

Some of the history says it was an armed response car or along them lines, loads of history in german as it was out there a fair few years, have letters from them and dvla to back this so quite interesting.

Greens, 3 bar, cooler ect, been to MSD today mate, runs sooo much better been to tonys twice now, gone there runs mint as now. Off back for closed loop anti-lag very soon was originally going in there today for it but had other issue to sort out, runs well hits 25psi then drops off pulls very well, looking forward to the trip back

Before I forget - 2mm plug in the compressor side of the amal valve is correct isn't it? Also resetting the CO Screw is 5 turns anticlockwise (or untill it clicks) and then 2.5 turns clockwise ?

co screw yes, 5 turns anticlock, 2-2.5 clockwise to get it close to zero, (it shouldnt click lol)

amal jets vary from car to car, dependant on lots of variables, so its hard to say really, we can always play with them while monitoring for det and fuelling when shes up with us

has loads of history from power engineering so could expalin why it was on. Totally useless exhaust really no sound from it, 2.5 inch bore. Put a magnex on it at the weekend, binned the one you can see in the pic

Mine had the same system when i got it, but it was a bit too quiet, so went for a 'goose.. Got a good price for the old system too!
