Average on short 10-15 mile each way journeys, around 28mpg, on a more longer run high 30's so long as foot doesn't get too excited, can squeeze with a LOT of restraint around 40 at steady 60-65, around town civilised driving between, 20-25, if booting a lot take your pick down to 15-18 no problem.
Mine is running mapped only, does have CL but haven't switched it in.

Mine was around 21 miles from memory after NMS had built/mapped it....

Again as Pete/Steve say, that could quite easlily be turned into 15-17miles if driven hard too...VARIES...............

Stu will tell you your car is running dangerously lean, or you don't know how to take mpg figures.

On emissions i can't fault it

My mpg is now worse on CL, but my TPS was knackered so was running lean.

theres loads of factors,, one big example is the stage 3 cossie going to use a t3 or t34 turbo.?

with a t34 i used less fuel than my t3 on motorways.

who cares what the fuel economy is anyways. instead it should be whats your average oil mpg

my point , if you want bhp , dont worry about the fuel, stay stage 1 or standard.

LOL
I remember Daz Dolomite ALG1K saying he used half a tank of fuel for one junction of the motorway
Allegedly at nearly 2XX PMSL
Might have been hearsay tho!

why are cossies wank on fuel, even when driven steady? you would think that off boost they would be just like most other 2.0 16 valve lumps.

They're not... you wanna try an Evo

Some of the figures you lot have mentioned seem pretty bloody good considering the spec of the cars!

my 500bhp would piss over 35mpg on a cruise,

it seemed better on a bigger turbo tbh, i could stay in closed loop for longer, was in closed loop at 100mph!
i know col cos can get siimilar mpg from his

but would do about 7mpg in anger lol

well, maybe a tad exagerated, it averaged 15mpg going to pod and back the other weekend, i put me foot down a couple of times but not for long, and i did 2 runs up the strip.
It usually averages between 10-15mpg to a tank full.

they can be hidious on fuel if your not carefull

you will find your baby t34.48 isnt helping matters either as they make boost really early, meaning you generally are boost fuelling all the time
