Default Cam belt tension

My dad just asked me basically the same question as asked before here:

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-sierra-sapphire-rs500-cosworth/251415-help-using-cam-belt-tension-gauge.html

Anybody know how to use these? My dad isn't sure how the chart should be read or used.

anybody know?

Certainly don't need one of these on a pinto, just std 90 degree twist rule.
