I have a Samsung lcd tv and i bought the Digital home cinema system to go with it, in the instruction manual it says about using one remote to control both the tv and cinema system, i never set this up as i wonted to use the tv remote for the tv and the cinema remote for the cinema.

Every time i play a cd through the cinema system the tv turns on no matter how i turn the tv off remote or button on the tv it turns the cinema system off as well

Anyone know how i can just play a cd with out the tv turning on

No seriously, at the top of the remote don't you just select the equipment you want to us, DVD, TV.....etc the buttons are clear gel like!

 

Yer the buttons are a clear gel type i will have a look then as i didnt wire it up

Had a quick look and the wires seem right

I did notice when you play a music cd it comes up on the cinema system dvd/cd?? and on the remote it has to gel type buttons DVD Reciver and TV the other 4 buttons next to them are DVD TUNRER PORT AUX
