New google maps just went online today apparently, (not like before with a blurred pic),now I can get a REALLY close up pic of my house!!!!!!!

Probably because you're IP19, so a little way out.

Our work address is NR9 and thats not on there yet.

Just actually tried it, can't see it as an option and I put in a North London address? where would the clicky option be?

 

Just above the zoom in/out part, there is a little 'man' that you can drag down onto the map view to take you to the street. If he can't be dragged, it's because it's not available in that area yet.

if you think the new 2008 maps are cool then you have seen fook all like this..

major citys are being put on now in the uk, you can actually wander about at STREET level with 360 degree view (click and hold and move mouse around) of the place.

below is a road in york looking at the minister. you can zoom in/out and navigate around by clicking the white arrows. on the road which ever way you want to go..

if you zoom out on the normal google map so the uk is in view then there is a icon of a man on the left above the +/- slider drag him into the map and anywhere that the roads light up blue you can put him and do street level..

Yes mate. when i saw it in aberdeen it was a different car, forget what, and said google down the side.

 

I saw one too, an MPV went down my mate's road, turned round and went back up again! Had loads of cameras and dishes on the roof! How do I make it so it does the street view? I can only get the birds eye view to work?
