April is engine building month, still don't know whether to build up the CVH I have in bits or go at the blacktop Zetec in the shed. But either way

 

my series one is so close.just really tubular manifold to get and pipe everything up but i reckon it should be done for end of may.

 

Nope. Thats why I'm chucking it on a trailor and doing a 330 mile round trip to Essex and back, dropping the car off at Oddkidd creations on the way.. . . . . . then making the trip back at some point to pick it back up

Plan to get loads of use this year though as i missed all but a handful of the shows last year, due to a CUNT of a painter....

 

Nope, need wheels, bumpers finishing, driveshaft fitting, engine mounts, and then it needs taxing at the end of the month. But i have no money

 

Mine is a daily driver, so out in all weathers, but it aint a ford so thats why.

Tax the 1st of april and down to msd the last week in april for a live map,wanted to be at central day but cant get it mapped in time

nowhere near engine in bits,was all gonna go to engineers for regrind etc but beefy decided he cocked up selling me his pistons so i will have to make do with the pork pies he`s gonna swap em for i think

wonder if he wants to buy the blasting cabinet back too

 

I need to:

go and get the car first

then

oil and filter
cambelt
fit new gas struts on tailgate
fit rear disc conversion
get new rims painted / tyres fitted ( Beefy - I'll get there )
refit boot panels
coolant change
get some road tax
and whatever else comes up including stuff I can't remember now......

then give her a bloody good clean !

So NO - the car isn't anywhere near ready for summer

nearly there, new wheels, tyres and bigger brakes all on, solid mointed the rear beam.

jobs left to do, clutch, escos anti roll bar and give the engine bay a bit of a clean up

 

just about there ern...be coming down to see yas soon to get a few touch ups and polished..job for you no doubt, knowing gaz!...few small things to do but it will prob take me a week seen as tho i always end up getting stoned!!..

 

Taxing it at the end of the month. It runs but the turbo is fucked really, smokes like a trooper.

Options are:

1) another t34.63 and keep it as it is
2) t4 running only about 20psi and save for new bottom end to run 500bhp, then up the boost
3) internally gated gt30 and run it like cossierich, who's saff looks fuckin rapid on that video
4) externally gated gt30 and pipework, running no boost and save for rest of engine build a la t4 option.

dunno what to do really.

Mine is used everyday too.The body work needs a bit of tlc now though,the salt has got to the back arches now.
