Thumbs up Conrods

Is there a certain way that conrods have to be fitted to a yb engine (ie an arrow on them like a piston).
Thanks

Arnt they arrowed towards the front (no1) of the engine? If not I have always built them with the shell lugs towards the inlet side of the engine.

I thought they were arrowed but when we got them ballanced they ground the top and bottom of the conrods so they have no markings on them now apart from numbers on one side
