I had an interesting chat when my contract ended with Voda, i made a few noises that i might jump ship and the guy let slip that they like all the other companys "offer" a loyalty bonus to stay.
I got Ł90 and got to pick form the latest phones
Obviously there is a limit and if you go for a really posh phone then the bonus goes towards to cost of it
Me being a tight wad took the Samsung soul and the dosh

ill add - i dont use the internet whilst driving my van at work, so having a fancy phone thats for internet use is not something i need, i want a decent camera more than anything else. Looked at that G1 but dont like the keyboard, would be a pain in the arse to send a text

n96 - just make sure its got latest firmware, if not its easily done yourself.
also comes with wifi so can connect it to your home router if only for the cool web radio and bbc iplayer is handy when on the bog lol. also comes with gps as standard. the camera is brilliant and very very good quality, i had mine for 6 months but just sold it due to upcoming nokia n97 in july, another handset i recommend is blackberry bold. depends on your needs, i used the smartphones quite heavily as my work requires this

N96 id say aswell, they have a superb camera, same as the N95 8gb which ive got and it takes just as good pictures as my Sony cybershot digital camera

As said above, get the lastest firmware and you'll be set
