hi peeps, av been a member for a long time but only recently got my first escort rs turbo, had it about 6 weeks now, and its spent more time sat on my drive rather than driving it lol within 2 weeks the water feed pipe for the turbo cracked, then when of my abs pipes snaped, followed by my front calipers seizing, everythin was fixed, then last week my bottom end went so now its sat on the drive!









Me and my dad are takin the engine out next weekend, which is goin for a full rebuild, everything goin back on the engine and in the engine bay will be brand new, hoping to have it all done within 3 months to get to sum shows this year also picked up a 90 spec spoiler and front bumper last nite, just need to get the spoiler sprayed. also planning on some new wheels but cant deside wot yet, while the essy is of the road i have this as my runaround,

Shame abt the engine.

 

i do like the wheels but i get bord very easy, fancy either sum RS7's, maybe standerd rs wheels or sum comps

 

Car looks great ,keep the rims on ,classic old school rim now

I had the same trouble with my s1 after buying it, driving back home
it started to miss fire turned out number 4 piston was shagged.
Then i bought my cossie,after the first week a water pipe split got it fixed
and the next day went to work and the turbo let go..
FORDS WE GOT TO LOVE EM...

Iv got some standard rs rims in gloss black v good condition with near new tyres
ill do a deal with you on ur rims and ill give u cash, if u decide to sell..

Nice S2 mate i had to look at the fiesta a few times then i relised it was a 5 door.It looks good.

Can I ask what wheel tyre combination you have, and what shocks / springs are fitted. I ask as I fitted new wheels and wanted that filled wheel arch you have on your car. But Could see no way of achieving it without rolling my arches, or making the suspension rock hard.

 

well it has spax ajustable shocks for hard and soft
60mm springs
wheels are 17 inch, tyres 205/40/17
lookin at the inner arch and skirts they have been trimmed

defo looks a really clean escort and the black rims do set it off well.
it'll all be worth it in the end ba.....

 

mate thats turbo's for you. i spent 300 in one week to get mine to scratch to take it to nms for a setup, then the headgasket went on the way there
