noticed a lot of s2s with a black lip on the rear spoiler, just curious is it just a vinyl cut to fit or is there something off the shelf for this?

 

Never seen it before on a S2, could you post up a pic? Could be a standart motorsport gurny fitted?

Looks like it just been painted to mimic the 3dr/RS500 spoilers mate

So you can just mask up area you want then quick scotch down then paint matt black for desired effect

 

yeah that's just been painted on - the guy's on the WoS RSOC

it's just done to match the saph/3-door/rs500

look good on the white car IMO, wouldn't have it on mine's when its red though

 

Thats my old car, it was just a masked lip on the spoiler when it was painted then all laquered over from memory.

When I had it no-one liked it, since it's gone they all 'inform' me how good it looked....tarts

 

from what i've heard, the car is no more

 

thinkin of doin it on my white s2.im havin my escos rims painted white and its got black inserts in the bumper(pin stripes) so i think it will look good to add another little touch of black

 

car got smashed a while ago, got stripped and the shell got scrapped.wish i never sold it looks minted in the pic should be i spent 3 days buffin and ploishin the hole car for its feature.

 

Do it mate, cut up the lines a bit. Will look proper with other bits

You still got black handles/locks? Suits OE look a lot.

i saw the feature on that car in fast ford, made me want to do it, sorry for copying but on the white rst it looks immense.

yeah still have black handles and locks.it really is looking mint.wanna post sum pics up but i havent fitted the lowered suspension yet so will have to wait.its a d reg 41k genuine miler

 

would look shit on a black car it does look hot on white ones though, mines white and am contemplating it... good comment above about keeping the handles black, dont know what it would look like on an 80 spec s2 rear spoiler, looks good on the 90 spec though! In fact i may do it if i manage to find a 90 spec one.
