Hello,

Been running around in my S2 RST and have noticed that the dump valve is spraying out oil!, in fact the whole under bonnet is covered!!! Its getting everywhere!!!!. Dipstick isn't showing the oil level to be over the maximum and unsure where/how its getting in!, any Ideas?

 

Oil seals on your turbo a big culprit, take the compressor side silicon hose off the turbo and look if you have any oil in there, which you shouldn't.

 

mine did that wen rings had gone

 

High Crankcase compression can casue this, oil vapours travel through your breathers, into the metering unit and back into the engine via boost hoses and of course your DV.

do a compression test mate to check rings

 

do cylinder leaktest to determine if ring issue,if you know anyone with 1,i have 1,depending where u are ur welcome to use it,or me to use it,no offence,lol.cheers.

 

has the dump valve always been on or have you recently put it on?
