Thumbs down t34 turbo with group a k@n

hi,bought a t34 turbo and a group a k@n air filter, went to fit it along with a complete samco 2wd hose kit,the filter to hose was the wrong diameter,so i got on the phone to woodford who sent me an elbow which was the correct diameter, but after i cut 1 end down so the filter would clear the washer bottle neck the other end is too short, the filter needs to clear the turbo to cooler pipe so it doesnt wear through it but my pipe is nowhere near long enough,is this a common problem on this conversion?does samco do a hose specifically for this?im a bit annoyed that i wasnt told about the hose in the kit not fitting, and pissed off that the other 1 i was sold is way too short, especially since i have cut it!

Where did you buy the hose kit from? If you tell them your set up (T34/grpa K&N) when palcing the order they supply the right hose to fit it.

Hi, was going to say the same about it being an Escort hose. I bought one in error, had to cut it down to fit, and just relocated (snap!) the washer bottle neck. It looks fine anyway
