i know there is a few players on here


i just started to play this and was wondering whats you preffered weapons, perks, type of game and arena

i hardly have any decent guns yet but i like me sniper rifles at the mo but this prevents me from getting many kills i think

is the best tactic to just run about like a luny and shoot what ever you can

 

g36 is good so it the p90

the m4 and for sniper its got to be the .50

dead silence is a good perk with uav jammer and a p90 with a silencer

and uav jammer with a sniper rifle and claymors #

just pick what u like

also team hardcore games and good to build up xp

 

what console you playing it on pal?

as for weapans, it depends on the location....well for me anyway

 

i dont know if its the same or not but i play this everyday on pc lol

only kit i use is m4, extra ammo, dead silence and uav jammer

i use sniper now and then but gets boring, and for taking down helicopters i use the big sub machine gun, fast reload, rpgs, deep impact

the new call of duty comes out end of next month aswell

 

the m16 mate is great.its pish tho to start with till you get the red dot sight after 25 kills.and the m4 is the same.you will find out as you rank up.add me as friend. its stevenebm just the same as on here.see you out on the field mate

 

my preferred setup is g36c with red dot, gold desert eagle, 3x Frag, Stopping power and deep impact

i also like the shotguns... w1200 with double tap or the other one with slight of hand

 

my house mate plays its on pc and just runs around with the eagle and thats it he snipers with it the lot its well funny

 

I play it on PC on the DVDF servers. Got to be hardcore mode...cant wait for COD 5, looks awsome

 

cod5 is back in world war 2 tho and its not made by the people who made cod 4

 

Bit late to be playing that! atm im downloading COD 5 demo for xbox. Though taking freaking ages

 

cod 5 is going to be good i think

airstrikes are replaced with artillary, and helicopters replaced with dogs to set on the enemy lol

flamethrowers the lot, carnt wait, going to be great on the pc

 

I've been playing COD: World at War most of today!

 

rpd red dot sight , good 2 snipe with , take down choppers and quality for killing your own team mates on hardcore

few americans I've been online with reckon cod5 is ok,but said it isn't as good as 4

 

I have to say that I'm pretty disapointed. There was no 'wow' moment for me, nothing new, nothing special.
COD4 feels real, and intense... World at war just seems a bit lame in comparison.

I like the m4 with the scope and the mp5 for closw up battels.
Only on level 38 now, and i STINK
Am REALLY surprised how good people can hit me and not the other way arround LOL

Pretty good classes to get you started. Headquarters is good for ranking up quick.

As for COD5 mine only took 10 mins to download Its not bad, better than i thought it would be. But nowhere near as good as COD4.

 

I have it for the Xbox 360 and it despends what game you're playing. All I ever play is hardcore team, hardcore search and free for all. So:

Hardcore team/Search-
G3 auto silenced, claymores, Uav jammer, dead silence, silence pistol or golden eagle.

Golden uzi same as above.

G36c with red dot or acog, claymores, Uav jammer and deep impact.

Golden dragonov sniper, claymores, overkill, deep impact and M4 carbine red dot.

M4 carbine, grenade launcher, slight of hand, deep impact. Silenced pistol or gold eagle.

Free for all isn't hardcore so I usually always put stopping power on with deep impact or martydom. Will have one class Uav/dead silence or slight of hand so I can creep round on people. I have a modded controller so get a selectable upto 18 shots/presses a second on single shooters like snippers, hand guns or G3 etc. Brilliant creeping on those camping in houses and smashing them with golden eagle before they even blink or rapid fire silenced pistol in the back. G3 is so smooth, steady and accurate just needs to be auto, mine is.

Again golden shotgun with the pad and slight of hand is cracking on confined maps then a machine gun baretta handgun in case you get caught out. M16 with red dot probably is the easiest and best gun in the game though but I prefer ze germans like mp5 and g36c.

i used to play it on xbox, my fav weapons were mp5 with silencer for close action range and sniper rifle

i play it on pc now though and only play promod search and destroy.
theres a massive difference in skill level from console to pc,i was quite good on xbox but really struggle sometimes on pc

If ur starting out in the game then i suggest RPG and go for the red dot sight(25 kills). Its great close in and fairly accurate medium to long range. The next sight up from that i find too cumbersome close and medium range. Dont stay in one spot, get out and shoot people to build ur points up. U will die but atleast the game will open up items quicker for u.

perk 1/ 3 granades
perk 2/ extra health
perk 3/ martydom

 

Mic, some beer and mps

You can't get red dot sight on the RPG and it's not that accurate. Point, squirt and hope
