Hi all, im not sure if this went into the correct forum, but anyway sorry if it has....

I need good advice regarding the following...Will an et25, 6j 16" alloy wheel fit ok onto my fiesta rs turbo?? They will be wearing 195/45/16 tyres. I currently have mondeo 16" alloys et40 7j with same size tyres. Th arches have been rolled and its lowede 35-40mm

I know nothing about offset so i need some help. Many many thanks. Edd.

Yes. They should fit.

Offset is the distance from the centre line of the wheel, to the mounting face.

http://www.driverstechnology.co.uk/wheel-offset.htm

Although your wheels will sit 15mm further out, they are 1 inch smaller so will be 12mm narrower on each side of the CL. So only going to sit 3mm further out. Tyres will have less of a stretch on them due to the wheels being narrower.

It's the width of the wheel in inches.
