Default Professional Photoshoot @Flow Images

Many moons ago, I happened to frequent a nice forum called pumapeople.

Whilst there, I was voted "most helpful person" as I tended to be the one answering the newbies questions about all things puma. (As well as others)

As a prize, one of the long standing members there (tiggr) was kind enough to buy us a photoshoot.

www.flowimages.com

From Ed @ Flow Images:

If you recommend the Flow Images Photo Studio Experience to a friend who subsequently purchases a Photo Studio Experience, you will receive a code for a free 12”x8” print of one of your images. To qualify, please ask the person making the purchase to enter your personal recommender id when they order. The code can be used more than once, and you get a free 12”x8” print every time someone uses the code in this manner.

Your recommender id is : ford722
So if you want to go (just look at the photo's below and I'm sure you will!!) please quote the 'ford722' code and we get a free larger print!

This monday, I got down to Bristol with my other half Cherie and her Millennium to do a joint shoot (after ok'ing with Ed to bring both cars)

We spent a good 4 and a bit hours getting the cars photographed. The way they looked in the studio was unbelievable.

Ed has sent me some proof shots so here's a small sample:

Not bad huh?

Great photos, but then I'm extremely biased seeing as the Millennium is mine.

Looks like no-one else cares on here, seeing as it's not a Cossie.

Was over 4 hours for us as we had to swap the cars over mid-shoot.

We cleaned the cars. They recommend a cleaning company on the website if you can't / don't want too. They really do look a million times better when under proper studio lighting though. My 5000 stonechips on the front disappeared!

No other preporation other than a wash..

Mine had already been pretty well prepared for Ford Fair anyway (T-cut, Poorboy's All in one Polish with Sealant and Collinite No. 476), so only needed a wash when we got there. Dal used Meg's Clay kit, ClearKote Vanilla Moose Glaze and Poorboys Ex-P a week or two before.

It depends how confident you are in your own cleaning abilities if you do it yourself. The lighting does hide a multitude of stone chips.

Ed's installed a hose pipe fairly recently, and can provide a bucket of warm water too. He'll also supply free tea and coffee 'cos he's nice like that!

No, they don't photoshop the background. The cars get 'dollied'* into a proper studio, and the lighting is setup around the cars for best effect.

*The studio floor is a matt grey, so car tyres on it would ruin it. They put rollers under each wheel and jack the whole car up so it can be pushed into position. Then lowered for pictures.
