Can someone let me know if the water pump has gone on a saff would it make a noticeable noise ? cheers.

If it washes the grease out of the bearings it will rumble.

Hi, new on here and new to the scene. I have a 1990 4x4 sapph with 57k mls on it would I want to change the water pump, and where's the best place to get one?

Probably would make a noise i guess. When mine went it was squirting out water from around the pump upon removal and spinning it, it was very rough. Replaced it with a brand new one and bang on...

Woodford also sell the Gen ford ones. Double check the inlets and and outlets are clear as one of mine wasn't drilled out in a brand new Ford pump!

Mine also leaked btw so had to be changed.
