I'm trying to sell a private registration marque, but I don't want to put it in the hands of a company who will advertise it forever and a day and be waiting around for years for it to sell, I want to get rid now, as I really don't want it and could use the funds to much better effect!
Now I'd be happy to sell it directly to a company at a price whereby they would most certainly make a profit, but companies only seem to want to directly purchase very valuable, dateless, "cherished" plates.
Now, this registration was originally purchased for £1800 as soon as it was released and there is a VERY similar and comparable plate on newreg.com for £2995!
All I want is £800, surely there must be someone out there willing to take the plunge?

what plate is it, the one in your sig?
you could try putting it on ebay with a reserve?
don't tend to go for as much as they can privately, but obvioulsy it could take a while for someone to buy it through one of the plate websites
quite a few plates on ebay, so might be worth a try?

I've got a 2 number/2 letter plate valued at something silly and Reg Transfers or Elite or which ever one it is based in Swindon offered me £650 for it as a cash purchase. They offered me that for it when they valued it at £5k on their websites/mailshot
There a fucker to sell sometimes as there not a necessity and there to tell people that they had a pay rise/bonus or whatever and they wasted it on a number plate

The plate is GO 04 LYN. EL 02 LYN is up for £2995 on newreg.com
The plate in my sig was only £250 and is definitely not for sale, lol.
I had it on eBay for a while, a buy it now or best offer, but no interest at all
