Default Fuel pressure...

Im running a 1.6 cvh efi turbo, uprated escos fuel pump,greens,t3 stage 2,cosworth racing pistons, charge cooler and gotech management.Having a few running problems i.e cold start and starting once warm.I used all the parts for the efi conversion of a 3i but realised they dont run the same fuel pressure as a turbo.Do you think fuel pressure could be causing my problems? If so what should the fuel pressure be and if it isnt getting enough pressure how many turns should i turn the allen key in the fuel reg??

you can get the correct pressure from the company that supplied the chip

Who mapped the car? They should be able to tell you?

If you're mapping the car and you want a good base to start from, then 3.5 bar with atmospheric reference is a good place to be.

well thats a stupid question if i ever saw one.. how can we determine how many turns if we dont even know what pressure its sitting at now

if you had a fuel pressure gauge you wouldn't be asking how many times to turn the allen screw, because you wold be turning the screw untill you got the correct reading on your fuel pressure gauge

and i have no idea the correct pressure it should be at

how do we know you've got a chip fitted? well youve got a 3bar map sensor, T3, and green on ofab management, it if ain't chipped then it that would explain why it dont bloomin run right... lol

and what R5FORD said was exactly my point, if you dont kow what it is currently it wont be able to adjust it properly anyway. sounds to be like youre doing a DIY set up on the car without any knowledge of how to acheive this, it's a recipe for disaster!

pa, he can't be mapping it himself, it's on ofab

anotehr question, how and why are you running cossie greens on ofab?
