Anyone know where i can get a towbar from for my Mondeo 2004 TDCI Hatchback??

ebay flog quite a few

then get the actuall proper wiring plug in harness for the car from sone of the big manufactueres for around Ł50, literaly plug and play with one or 2 holes to be made in the plastic under tray of the bumper for the wires and plate to go through and it's done

took me about 3 hours all in to bolt up and wire in

you only need 6 bolts, but make sure they come with the kit, they bolt into the holes in the chassis rails at the back
you just need to remove the rear bumper and some of the panels in the back to get everything where you can see it, plus you need to drop the exhaust o gain access to 2 of the bolt hole locations but if you have a degree of mechanical ability it's easy, you dno't even need a jack

Thanks for the info mate Where did you buy your towbar from?? have you any links?? i have been looking on ebay and there is loads i am getting a bit confussed as to what one to get

all theones shown there are different the one i've got as it's a much higher instal

but essentially it's the same designwise

the 2 long plates bolt to the chassis rails in the preholed sections
then you bolt the middle bit to these plates, then the towbar ball bit and wire up the electrics

removal of the bumper makes life much eaiser, but mine came from an estate to fit an estate so that might be why it's different in the looks department
